Championship: Monday, Sept 29th at Cranberry Valley Golf Course
Fall Cup Overview
Format: Four-Ball match play with teams of six golfers from four clubs. In 2025, each club may send one team.
Sign-Up: Details will be emailed in April.
Player Selection & Eligibility
With only 18 total spots, priority is given to active Fairway Ladies members who regularly participate in weekend play.
Must be a member for at least one year
Must have posted eight 18-hole scores in the past 12 months
Must have match play experience
Must have a Handicap Index of 36.0 or lower
Selection Process:
Players who have played at least 12 weekend rounds by August 29 get first priority. If slots exceed interest, a random draw will be used.
If spots remain, players with 11 rounds, then 10 rounds, will be considered.
Selected players specify available dates; those not chosen serve as alternates.
A captain is assigned for each match.
Exceptions: Players who typically meet the 12-round requirement but were unable due to medical or other valid reasons may request an exemption.
Championship Qualification
If the team makes the Championship, players with the most Fall Cup match points will be selected.
Ties will be decided by a random draw.
Mass Golf rules require all championship players to have competed in at least one regular Fall Cup match.
